three reasons why I know we’ll get on
i love storytelling
For years in the travel industry, I wrote narratives designed to transport people to new places.
I believe in the power of storytelling to inspire and connect - not in shortcuts or manipulation - but in words that genuinely resonate.
I love creative communities
I feel most energised when working with thoughtful, creative people.
I love helping brands bring their communities together and supporting businesses that exist to make the world more open and inclusive.
I love deadlines
I am reliable, organised, and I take deadlines seriously.
When I commit to a project, you can trust it will be delivered on time, with care and attention to detail. I’ll keep you informed along the way while still respecting your time.
You might be here because you’d like to know a little more about me before deciding whether we should work together.
I studied English Literature at university before starting my career as a journalist at the Buenos Aires Herald in Argentina. Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked with sales and marketing teams at boutique tour operators across the travel industry, as well as in Major Gifts Fundraising at University College, Oxford.
Across all of this, one thing has stayed constant: a deep understanding of how words move people to take the next step.
Travel and storytelling have always been closely linked in my work. Both require curiosity, empathy, and the ability to see the world through someone else’s eyes. The best writing - like the best travel experiences - comes from listening closely, observing carefully, and caring about the people and places you’re describing.
I was born in Brazil and grew up travelling the world, living in Singapore, Japan, Spain, Australia, and Argentina. In each place, I immersed myself in the culture, made local friendships, and paid attention to what made each one unique.
If you’d like to see a few snapshots from my travels, there’s a link below… but no pressure; I know other people’s holiday photos are not everyone’s idea of a good time.
“The universe buries strange jewels deep within us all, and then stands back to see if we can find them. The hunt to discover those jewels – that's creative living.”
— Elizabeth Gilbert
